See if you qualify for a debt relief match

Updated October 14, 2026 by Keith Guirao

OneLoanRelief is a free matching service for people who owe about $10,000 or more in unsecured debt. You answer three questions. If your answers fit a partner's rules, we show you a debt relief provider that serves your state. We are not a lender or a debt relief company, and checking does not pull your credit.

Direct answers
  • Checking is free. We do not ask for your name, phone, email, or Social Security number.
  • Most partners work with $10,000 or more in unsecured debt.
  • Student loans are not covered.
  • Nobody can promise you savings.
Step 1 of 3·State

See if you qualify

Free to check. We do not pull your credit or ask for your name, phone, or email. OneLoanRelief is not a lender or a debt relief company. The last button opens another site: a partner debt relief company if you fit its rules, or a search page with paid listings on ConsumersWeek if you do not. ConsumersWeek is also owned by Maven Media, LLC, and it may earn us money. We may be paid when you click or enroll. Results vary, and savings are not guaranteed. No student loan services. See our Terms and Notice at Collection.

How does it work?

It takes about a minute. There are three steps.

Tell us your state

Debt relief rules and providers change from state to state, so this comes first.

Pick your debt range

Most partners work with $10,000 or more in unsecured debt. That means credit cards, medical bills, and personal loans with no collateral.

Pick your income range

Most programs ask you to set money aside each month, so there needs to be some room in your budget.

Then the last button opens another site. If you fit a partner's rules, it goes to that debt relief company. If you do not, it may open a page of paid listings on ConsumersWeek. ConsumersWeek is owned by Maven Media, LLC, the same company that runs this site. We may be paid when you click or enroll. You decide what to do next, and you can stop at any point.

Read the full steps on our how it works page.

Who is this for?

This is for you if most of these sound true:

  • You owe about $10,000 or more on credit cards, medical bills, or personal loans.
  • Your minimum payments barely touch the balance.
  • You want to compare choices before you talk to anyone.
  • You want a free, low-key first step.

It is probably not for you if your debt is mostly a mortgage, a car loan, or student loans. Our who we help page explains why and where to go instead.

If you are reading this late at night because the bills will not stop, you're not alone. It is normal to feel worried. Looking at your options is a smart thing to do.

Why should you trust this site?

I am Keith Guirao. I have spent 18 years in lead generation for insurance, lending, and credit offers. I know how debt ads get written, and I know where they mislead people. So this site has no countdown timers and no "guaranteed savings" claims.

Here is what we tell you up front:

  • We are a matcher only. We do not lend money, settle debts, or give legal advice.
  • We get paid by companies, not by you. That pay can affect which link we show. We say so on every page.
  • There are real risks. Debt settlement can hurt your credit, and creditors do not have to agree. The FTC and the CFPB both say so.
  • Free help exists. Nonprofit credit counseling can be a better fit, and it earns us nothing.

What should you know before you talk to a provider?

A few rules protect you. A company that sells debt relief over the phone cannot charge a fee until it settles or changes at least one of your debts. If someone wants money up front, walk away.

Forgiven debt may also count as income on your taxes. The IRS covers this in Topic 431. Ask about fees, how long the program takes, and what happens to your credit before you sign anything.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. It is free to check and free to see a match. We do not charge you anything. We may be paid by a provider if you click through or enroll, and that fee does not come from you. Any provider you talk to must explain its own fees before you sign.

No. We are a matching service. We do not settle debts, make loans, or give legal advice. If your answers fit a partner's rules, we show you a provider that serves your state, and that provider explains your options. You choose whether to go ahead.

No. We do not offer student loan services of any kind. For federal student loans, StudentAid.gov is the official and free place to look at repayment plans. For private student loans, start by calling your loan servicer. You do not need to pay anyone for that help.

No. The check asks only for your state, a debt range, and an income range. It does not pull your credit or ask for your Social Security number. If you later talk with a provider, ask whether its own review uses a hard or a soft credit check.

No. Every situation is different, and nobody can honestly promise a result. Savings depend on your creditors, your budget, and the program you pick. Some people do not finish a program. Be careful with any company that names a set amount you will save.
