California Privacy Notice
Effective date: October 2, 2026
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. It explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we disclose it, and your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
Who we are and what we do
OneLoanRelief is an educational site and matching service. Our eligibility check asks for your state, a debt range, and an income range to see if you may fit with a debt relief provider. We are not a debt relief provider, a law firm, a lender, or a government program.
Personal information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the site. In the last 12 months we collected the following categories defined by California law:
- Identifiers, such as IP address and referral identifiers included in links you click to visit a provider site.
- Internet or other electronic network activity, such as page views, browser and device information, and the date and time of visits.
- Geolocation in a general sense, such as the state you choose in the eligibility check or an approximate location inferred from IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation.
- Inferences drawn to assess a potential fit with a provider, based on the ranges you select for debt and income and the state you choose.
We do not collect contact information in the eligibility check. It does not ask for a name, email address, or phone number. We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, account numbers, or sensitive personal information in the eligibility check.
Sources of personal information
- You, when you use the eligibility check or email us.
- Your browser and device, when our systems record visits and usage.
- Service providers that help us operate the site and measure usage.
Business or commercial purposes for use
- Provide and improve the eligibility check and site experience.
- Match you to a potential provider and show a link if you choose to continue.
- Measure traffic and referrals.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate security incidents and misuse.
- Debug and fix errors that impair functionality.
- Comply with law and enforce our terms.
Disclosures of personal information
We disclose personal information to:
- Service providers that host our site and measure usage, who may use the information only to perform services for us.
- A debt relief provider, but only if you choose to click a referral link to that provider’s site. The link may include referral identifiers and may reflect the state and ranges you selected. Information you enter on a provider site is governed by that provider’s privacy policy, not this notice.
- Courts, regulators, or law enforcement when the law requires or to protect rights and safety.
- A buyer or successor to our business, under terms that keep this notice in force.
Sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this notice and provide a way to opt out.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as the law requires. After that, we delete it or keep it in a form that does not identify you.
Your California rights
- Right to know and access. You can ask for the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete. You can ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions.

- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you want to register an opt-out request, tell us.

How to submit a request
Email and tell us what you are requesting. You may also ask an authorized agent to submit a request for you.

To protect your information, we verify requests. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof that you gave the agent signed permission or a power of attorney, and we may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us.
Shine the Light
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing. If you have questions about this, email .
Children
Our site is for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We also do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
